Juliet Inness Ellsworth Cox (1881-1966), of Cragsmoor, New York, served as a captain in the American Red Cross Motor Transport Corps during World War I. Cox drove an ambulance ferrying sick and wounded soldiers from the Hoboken Port of Embarkation to convalescent hospitals.
