Digitization Priorities for 2022-2023
The Digital Projects Priorities Team met on Tuesday 8 March 2022 and established the following priority projects for the coming year:
Slotted for definite completion (continuing projects):
- Cone Health Medical Library Projects
Addditional material related to Cone Hospital and Almanance Regional medical Center. This project is funded by Cone Health. - UNCG Magazine
Complete digitziation of issues from 1997 to 2012. - UNCG Graduate School Bulletins
Complete ten additional volumes placed on hold during pandemic. - Clarence Lee Harris Papers
Complete digitization of the entire collection, specifically materials that were not digitized as part of Civil Rights Greensboro. Harris was manager of the Woolworth store in Greenboro at the time of the 1960 sit-ins. - Women Veterans Historical Project
Add new oral history interviews and other items as they are acquired. - North Carolina Runaway Slave Ads
Complete the second phase (post-1840) of the project that was interrupted by a realted grant project over the past three years.
Slotted for definite completion pending grant funding:
- Signe Waller Foxworth Papers
Digitize the Signe Waller Foxworth/Greensboro Massacre collection. An NEH grant is pending.
Slotted for probable completion:
- Greensboro Fire Department Scrapbooks
Digitize a collection of scrapbooks dating back to the 1930s and held by the Greensboro History Museum. - Public Domain Cello Scores and Journal
Digitize 151 cello music scores, primarily from 1922-1923. - National Council of Jewish Women, Greensboro Section Records
Digitize the records of the Greensboro Section of the National Council of Jewish Women. The records contain meeting minutes, correspondence, and scrapbooks.

Digtitize and ingest born-digital items recieved since the collection was initially digitized. - Etta Cone Letters
- Monterey Jazz Festival Photos

- World War I Officer's Diary
