- Draft of promissory note from the Greensboro Hebrew Congregation to the Atlantic Bank & Trust for the loan of $35,000 for the construction of the Greene Street Temple. Stipulations include the appointment of J. Goldstein, Etta Spier, Herman Cone, Flora O. Stern, and Sidney J. Stern to the Ways and Means Committee.
- Letter from Temple President Sidney J. Stern to Etta Spier forwarding letters from Rabbi Moses Barroway and Samuel M. Cohen. The letter discusses the Temple's search for a new rabbi. Stern mentions that he met Rabbi Barroway in Baltimore and that the Temple "preferred to call a Rabbi from some community who wouldn't want to give him up."
- Letter from Temple President Sidney J. Stern to Rabbi Mosses Baroway acknowledging that Stern received the Rabbi's October 22nd letter and thanking him for his interest in the Temple's Rabbi position. In the letter Stern mentions he also received a letter from Rabbi Samuel M. Cohen and that he forwarded both letters to Etta Spier.
- Series of correspondence between Temple leadership and the Emergency Committee on Jewish Refugees. The correspondence starts with a letter from the Chairman of the Emergency Committee on Jewish Refugees to the late Emanuel Sternberger asking the Temple to raise $1,000 for Jewish refugee relief in Europe and Cuba. President Sidney J. Sternberger writes a letter in reply informing the committee of the death of Emanuel Sternberger, stating that Rabbi Kaufman had already sent $500 to the Committee. Committee sends two letters in reply acknowledging that they have received $494.44 from the Greensboro Community and that Chairman Louis Marshall was too busy to visit Greensboro personally to speak about the Emergency Committee. The letter also asked that the Temple gather important community members to hear the Chairman's radio address on November 18th.
- Two handwritten letters from Bertha Sternberger to Temple President Sidney J. Stern forwarding the Emergency Committee on Jewish Refugees letter. Sternberger compliments Stern on his work as Temple President and asks for the Greensboro community to do their part to help the Emergency Committee. Sternberger also mentions her grief over the death of her late husband Emanuel Sternberger.
- Letter from the Chairman of the Cemetery Committee to Leah Schapiro requesting a donation to help keep the cemetery in good condition because her husband, Joe Schapiro, is buried there. The letter includes a list of deceased persons as well as loved ones the Cemetery Committee is contacting to ask for donations.
