[Adagios] dalle 6 sonate per violino e basso [di Corelli]
For violin and bass or continuo (bass line only, with figured bass symbols, unrealized). Caption title. Consists of adagio movements alledgedly written as introductions for Corelli's sonatas op. 5, 1-6. Two different sonatas are captioned no. 5. Introductions do not match sonatas in either key or meter and appear to be by Silva, not Corelli. May be intended for second set of sonatas in op. 5, nos. 7-11; however relationship is still in question. Manuscript in the hand of Luigi Silva. Score has two lines: upper line for violin, lower line is bass line of continuo part. Part for violin is for Sonata 3, Adagio only. Included on same page is melody line of Handel's Largo from Xerxes.
