Well Crafted NC Oral History Collection

Well Crafted NC is a project documenting the history of beer and brewing in North Carolina. It is a product of the University Libraries at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. The collection contains oral history interviews with brewers, brewery owners, brewery employees, and others associated with North Carolina's craft beer industry.

Oral history interview with Briana Brake, 2022
Briana Brake is the owner and brewer at Spaceway Brewing Company, a minority-owned and woman-owned brewery located in the Rocky Mount Mills in Rocky Mount, NC. In this interview, Brake discusses how she developed an interest in craft beer and brewing and how she was recruited to open Spaceway at Rocky Mount Mills. She talks about the brewery incubator program at Rocky Mount Mills and the ways in which this program allowed her brewery to open and grow.
