Oral history interview with Barbara Summey Marshall
Primarily documents the life of Barbara Summey Marshall, and her service with the United States Navy Reserve and United States Navy. Marshall recalls being racially segregated as a child, and her desire later in life to work with people of all races and religious beliefs. She describes the demanding, but rewarding, feeling she received from spreading the ministry, but also the difficulty of being away from her daughter during training periods, and the guilt she felt for doing so.
