Korn who was stationed at the 166th Station Hospital, Department of Nurses, in the East Indies.Korn writes about the primitive conditions of the wards of the not-fully built hospital, that they are beginning to receive casualties from the Philippines, the lack of laundry facilities, the food, and the heat.
