Minutes, Greensboro Hebrew Congregation [1924]
Transcribed copy of business meeting minutes for the Greensboro Hebrew Congregation. Congregation approves taking out a loan for $35,000 for the building of the Greene Street Temple. Rabbi Kaufman is appointed. Congregation voted to send flowers and a resolution to the family of the late Emanuel Sternberger. Rabbi Kaufman was not reelected. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Benjamin gave a new torah in memory of former President Emanuel Sternberger. Sunday School children donated a bible to the Temple.
