Minutes of the Greensboro Section of the National Council of Jewish Women
Thank you notes were read from the Immigration Aid of the National Council of Women for the Greensboro Chapter's aid to Ellis Island. Additionally 37 pairs of pants were sent to the Tuberculosis Hospital. The Mid-Atlantic District Conference would be held jointly with the Sisterhood in Richmond, Virginia on October 24-25. Lastly the Rabbi Ellis led a program on the significance of various Jewish ceremonial objects and observances.

The meeting discussed the Council's work to aid the Immigration Aid Division by supplying aid to immigrants at Ellis Island. Domestically the council discussed aiding seeing-eye dog training in Nashville, a family in need in Florida, and a $400 donation to the City Nursing Council. The evening ended with presentation of the history of Jewish women-modern, Biblical, and more.

Typed minutes for the regular general body meeting of the Greensboro Chapter of the Council of Jewish Women. The minutes discuss naturalization of immigrants, goods distributed to the local jail, improvements to the Rest Cottage, and clothing sent to Ellis Island. The Inter-racial committee announced the creation of an Anti-lynching League. The council announced the upcoming district meeting of the North Carolina Association of Jewish Women. The meeting ended in a surprise celebration of the Council's 11th anniversary.
