Includes a notebook recording the topics discussed at the conference, minutes reiterating what was discussed, and correspondence ranging from invitations, explanations of the conference's purpose, and expressed appreciation for being in attendance.
Guilford College Curriculum 1927 - 1934
The contents of this folder pertain to Guilford College's curriculum from 1927 to 1934. Includes literature on constructing college curriculum with such titles as "Some Policies for a Small College,""Unifying the Curriculum," and "Measuring the Results of College Instruction." Also includes a list of courses from Rollins College. Documents include:"The Experimental College of the University of Women,""Comments on the Principles of Reshaping College Curriculum,""Availability of Certain Thought-Provoking Books on Collegiate Education,""Admission Requirements of North Carolina College," and "Curricular Requirements for the Bachelor of Arts Degree." Some of these booklets, pamphlets, articles, and reports are catalogued alone, but some are attached to corredpondence, as most of the letters are regarding the running of colleges and may enclose documents that the writer deems relevant. Lastly, there are several personal notes by Raymond Binford, as well as some newspaper clippings about Guilford Curriculum.
Guilford College Finances
This folder chiefly contains financial records in one form or another: a copy of Guilford College's 1920 financial statement for the Board of Trustees, correspondence regarding Guilford's money, a history of financial efforts scribbled on the back of recycled paper, a record of the "$375,000 campaign," a record of the cost of the Eula Dixon Memorial, and a document titled "Guilford College is NOT Bankrupt." Also there is an essay on 100 year-old colleges featuring Guilford and a list of addresses to where "17th Anniversary" invitations were sent.

Documentation of activites in the Guilford Community, including plans and reports in which Helen Binford is usually involved. Included are several newspaper clippings.

This folder contains material relating to the Duke Institute of International relations, specifically extensive correspondence between Raymond Binford and various parties discussing the establishment of the Institute in Cooperation with the American Friends Service Committee and Duke University. Included are several reports and newspaper clippings.
H. B. Walter Woodward Memorial - Biography Plan
This folder contians materical relating to the planning and creation of the Walter Woodward Memorial. Includes correspondence planning the memorial, a biography, and a fund in his name. The details of the fund, which would grant people money to write about history, are on a brochure. Also there are some rough hand-written accounts of Walter Woodward's life, as well as a booklet on his life titled "Walter C. Woodward, Editor and Friend."

Three newspaper clippings reporting the activities of the Guilford College Peace League, which was a Quaker organization in opposition to conscription for military service.
Helen Binford - PTA - Games, Ideas and Recipes
Miscellaneous materials and documents pertaining to the PTA and their ideas for activities and games for children. Included are several rhymes and song lyrics, a proposal for a play production called "A Garden Bequeathed," a speech or monologue titled "Ma Dusenberry and Her Girls," plans for games, and several crafts such as a paper crane and a card in the shape of a turkey.
