Civil Rights Clippings from Guilford College Publications

A collection of clippings from various campus publications including The Guilfordian, The Tad, The Quaker, and Southern Friend on race relations and the civil rights movement. These were digitized as part of the Civil Rights Greensboro project in 2007-2009.

Malcolm X Tribute
This March 2, 1970 tribute to the life and philosophies of black activist Malcolm X, was written by Gwendolyn Spinks and published in the Guilford College student newspaper, The Guilfordian. This article was the first in a series sponsored by the student organization Brothers and Sisters in Blackness (BASIB).
