Ashe Street School minute book
This minute book composed between 1920 and 1924 is a record of the development of the Ashe Street Parent Teachers' Association and its change into the J.C. Price Parent Teachers' Association. Topics include descriptions of meetings, elections of officers, treasury reports, a petition to the Greensboro Board of Education, records of donations and fundraising activities, and accounts of the foundations of the Ashe Street Parent Teachers' Association. Also includes the PTA resolution to name the new school after Grace McLean Nelson instead of J.C. Price, and the later decision to name the PTA chapter after Price.
