The diary contains details of her time in the WAAC. Entries describe her time from submitting her application, to her training, to her experiences as a recruiter. The entries range from August to November 1942.
An unknown U.S. Women’s Army Auxiliary Corps (WAAC) recruiting officer from Arkansas who joined the Army Auxiliary Corps in 1942. She was one of the first WAAC officer candidates and completed her officer training and then recruiter training at Fort Des Moines, Iowa. She was then assigned to Fort Jackson, South Carolina as a recruiter for the WAAC.
