Charlotte Ren'e Byrd (1951-) was born and raised in Greensboro, North Carolina. Byrd attended UNCG from 1969-1973 and majored in psychology. After graduation, Byrd had a varied career including working for the City of Greensboro, the Guilford County school system, and First Citizen's Bank.
