Ruby Jane Hodgin Scrapbooks

Ruby Jane Hodgin lived in Greensboro, NC and graduated from North Carolina College for Women (now the University of North Carolina at Greensboro) in 1922 with a Bachelor of Sciences degree. Hodgin was an active student and participated in many clubs and groups on campus including the Adelphian Society, the Class Hockey Team, and the Education Club. She was also Business Manager of Handbook, Class Critic, Secretary of House of Representatives, and Pine Needles Staff. Scrapbook One contains materials that date from 1917 to 1922. It is a large bound book with black pages annotated in white ink. It contains personal correspondence, event programs, greeting cards, clippings, invitations, tickets, ribbon and fabric swatches, postcards, dried flora and cigarettes, school reports/ college documents, photographs, receipts, candy wrappers, and other memorabilia.
