This scrapbook, created by Margaret Reaves Coleman and dating from 1925-1929, document's Coleman's student experience at the North Carolina College for Women (now The University of North Carolina at Greensboro). The scrapbook contains sayings and remembrances written by friends, correspondence to Coleman while she was in the infirmary with appendicitis, articles and photographs from the Curry Building fire, photographs of students on a field trip to the college farm, and a lock of hair. The scrapbook is annotated throughout and also contains ephemera relating to a trip to Tennessee, Freshman-Junior Wedding, Aletheian literary society membership, Playlikers membership, an award ($25) won for creating an advertisement for Coca-Cola, and a suspension of several students for buying and riding in a car and getting in an accident.
