High school scrapbook belonging to Cornelia Coward Buckner (née Smith), who graduated from Siler City High School on May 22, 1950. The scrapbook includes newspaper clippings, programs, invitations, graduation cards (along with the gifts received handwritten on the cards), photographs, a handbook, corsages. other miscellaneous cards and ticket stubs. It also include graduation items for the Siler City High School classes of 1948 and 1949 and Ramseur High School class of 1950. There is also a booklet for the Commerical College of Asheboro and the March 17, 1949 issue of the North Carolina Christian Advocate.
James Coward's military photograph album
James Monroe Coward's military photograph album with pictures from his time in service during World War II. Mr. Coward joined the U.S. Army in January of 1942 and was transferred to the Jackson air base in Jackson, Mississippi. He was then stationed at Barksdale Field in Louisiana. James was also stationed in England for part of the war, serving three years overseas as part of the Army Ordnance force. He was promoted to Technician of the third grade during his time overseas which is equilvalent to staff sergeant. One photograph is dated February 3, 1945. There are family pictures scattered throughout the album including pictures of a fox hunt.

Wedding scrapbook of James Monroe Coward and Cornelia Coward Buckner (née Smith). The couple married on October 21, 1950 at Rehobeth Methodist Church in Ramseur, North Carolina. The scrapbook includes newspaper clippings, a church bulletin, gift cards with the item received written on the card, a diary book with the amount of money spent on the honeymoon, postcards from the honeymoon, and the wedding corsage worn by Cornelia.
